Nora Slow Flyer Modifications

The Nora is a wonderful plane. There are some modifications I would suggest to a new builder.

  1. Reinforce the landing gear holes with fiberglass on the inside. The normal holes were wearing out on the first day (no crashes)
  2. The propeller is supposed to press fit on. Luckily mine flew off on the ground. Glue it in place.
  3. The gear wheel uses the screw that holds it to the motor mount as a bearing. It should slide smoothly on this screw. Mine threaded on. I reamed it out just enough to slide on the screw (not loose).
