More HP for Your Brison 6.4

If you are running a Brison 6.4, you may be interested in this.

Brison now has a fiberglass reed petal to replace the stock steel reeds. I installed a set in my 6.4. The static RPM didn’t show much change, maybe a 50 RPM increase. The difference is in the air. The throttle response is much crisper and the transition improved. The real story is how the prop unloads in the air now - same engine, same prop, the difference is immediately noticeable and dramatic. The prop unloads and howls, the plane is obviously faster and pulls uplines much better.

I’ve had them in my engine for about two weeks. Yesterday we installed a set in Dan Wolanski’s 6.4 and had the same results. He is using less restrictive, louder mufflers than I am. With his plane noise is now an issue as it unloads and screams. We are both running 26 x 12 Menz Ultra props.

Installation is simple, if you want more performance out of your Brison 6.4, give them a call and order a set of fiber reed petals.
