Zagi-THL Under 10 oz

I weighed the Zagi THL last night using a friends Acculab V333 scale. Here are the components and the numbers I came up with…

FMA FP-1 (Tetra sub-micro rcvr w/S-80 servos x2, 110mah, 6 inch extension, switch harness) 2.6 oz Zagi THL (covered with Ozcover Light from Australia with the elevons attached) ~4.2 oz Wingtips made from meat trays ~0.4 oz torque rods, clevis’, control horns still in the plastic bag (standard LE hardware that was included in the kit) were weighed but I don’t remember what the total was

We put everything on the scale and came up with 8.6 oz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Once I add the tape for the wingtip plates and a bit of color for orientation ease I figure it will still be under the 10 oz by a longshot (relatively speaking). I also opted to leave out the switch harness and use the 6 inch extension as a batter lead. I will have to plug and unplug the battery but I can live with that. All I have to do now is hookup the elevons and give it a throw. I plan to try it later this week after I search around for some new (smaller) piano wire for the torque rods.
